Characteristics of 5CrNiMo Hot Working Tool Steel Plates
Characteristics of 5CrNiMo Hot Working Tool Steel Plates
High Strength and Hardness:
Hardness ranges from 197-241HB in the annealed state and reaches HRC53-58 after quenching, meeting the demands of high-load molds.
Tensile strength ≥980MPa and yield strength ≥785MPa ensure mold stability under high pressure without deformation.
Excellent Toughness and Wear Resistance:
Impact toughness ≥55J, enabling it to withstand impact loads in complex-shaped molds.
Chromium (Cr) and nickel (Ni) elements significantly enhance wear resistance, extending mold service life.
Thermal Stability:
Maintains hardness (HB300) at elevated temperatures of 500-600℃, making it suitable for high-temperature processes like hot forging and die casting.
Molybdenum (Mo) reduces temper brittleness, minimizing the decline in toughness after high-temperature cooling.
