3Cr2W8V Hot Working Die Steel description
3Cr2W8V alloy steel belongs to high strength hot work tool steel, Hot extrusion die steel. This alloy is strongly recommended for making extrusion dies, die casting dies for aluminum, magnesium and copper allay.
Characteristics:
1. High strength and hardness even under high-temperature condition. Hardness can reach 300HBS at 650℃.
2. Fault surface within80mmin thickness can be fully hardened.
3. Relatively high phrase transformation temperature and good thermal fatigue resistance to alternation of heat and cold.
4. Ductility and toughness are comparatively low.
