SNCM420 special steel, under JIS G4053 standard, is a low-alloy steel for machine structural use. It is available in hot rolled and cold drawn technique.
JIS G4053 SNCM420 is a commonly used alloy carburizing bearing steel with super hardness and abrasive resistance and contact fatigue resistance on the surface of the bearing. SNCM420 is mainly used for railway bearings and other impact-resistant, wear-resistant parts.
Equivalent to ASTM 4320, GB 3203 G20CrNi2Mo, EN 20NiCrMo7.

Metallographic organization: carburizing layer of high-carbon martensite.
