Hot Working Die Steel SWGH13 Special Steel Plate
H13 steel is American AISI/SAE standard steel grade, which belongs to hot work die steel. H13 is equivalent to domestic 4Cr5MoSiV1 steel, classified according to carbide forming elements, and H13 steel is chromium-molybdenum steel. Due to its high impact resistance and high hardenability, Hot Working Die Steel SWGH13 can meet the needs of large modules in hammer forging.

Hot Working Die Steel SWGH13 Capability
H13 steel has a relatively low amount of alloy and carbon, and it is easy to forge, especially because molybdenum has high hardenability, and it is usually using its ability to quench air. But it is best to use some surface protection measures when heat treatment, otherwise due to carbon increase or decarburization that increases the tendency to crack.
