27SiMn pipe for boiler
The performance of 27SiMn steel is better than that of 30Mn2 steel, the hardenability is higher, the critical hardening diameter in water is 8~22mm, the machinability is good, the cold deformation plasticity and weld ability are medium; in addition, the toughness of steel is not much reduced during heat treatment. However, 27SiMn has a relatively high strength and wear resistance, especially when water quenching still has high toughness.
